How much does SmartScale Events cost?
It’s free to create events, with no setup or monthly fee. On paid tickets there’s a service fee of 3.5% + $1.59 per ticket plus card processing, lower than Eventbrite’s. You choose whether your buyers pay it (you receive your ticket price minus about 30¢ per order that Stripe keeps) or you cover it. Free events are free.
Do I need a Stripe account to get paid?
Yes. Connect an existing Stripe account or create one during secure payout setup. Complete Stripe’s verification and add your bank account before accepting payments.
How does the AI event builder work?
Upload your flyer or type a sentence. The AI fills in the event name, date, time, venue, ticket types and prices, and writes the description. You check it on one screen and publish.
How do buyers get their tickets?
Buyers check out without making an account. They get their ticket by text and email, with Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes.
Can I scan tickets without internet at the venue?
Yes. Open the Door Scanner and download your guest list before the event. Scanning then works with no signal, and check-ins sync when you’re back online.
When do I get paid, and is my money safe?
Payments are processed by Stripe. Ticket money goes into your own payout account and on to your bank, according to your Stripe payout schedule. Timing depends on verification and settlement; the first payout can take longer. You set your own refund policy, and if you ever need to cancel we help you refund buyers and let them know.
Can I sell tables, VIP or bottle packages?
Yes. Sell tables and sections as one purchase, send private pay links for custom amounts, or make tickets approval-only so you approve each guest before their card is charged.
Where can I use SmartScale Events?
Anywhere in the United States. Organizers from Texas to Virginia sell tickets here, from day parties and lounges to reunions, conferences and festivals.
