Hello, welcome to SmartScale Events. Have a flyer and an event in mind? You can build your page, set up tickets, prepare promotion, and get ready for the door in one place.
I'll walk you through that journey, explain what you pay and what you keep, and show you the new connection to ChatGPT and Claude. Looking for plans instead? Use the Find Events chapter for free and ticketed events in supported cities. Let's start with your first event.
After signing in, open All tools. It brings together event creation, promotion, guests, payments, and connections. Use Events to edit your event. Growth Tools opens the tools for promoting it. Guests and check-in is where you get ready for people arriving.
You don't have to set up everything at once. Start with the event, then add what you need.
Choose Create event. Upload your flyer, or describe the event with its name, date, time, venue, and tickets. Spark turns those details into a draft. Check the highlighted information before you continue. Read the date, time zone, address, and ticket prices carefully.
Add any age requirements or dress code your guests need to know. Your flyer gets you started; your review makes the page ready to share.
Choose free admission or paid tickets. Set the quantity, limits per order, and any early-bird offer. Tables and VIP sections can cover several guests in one purchase. Private pay links support custom offers. Approval-only tickets let you review a request before charging the held card.
Now check the fees. There is no setup or monthly fee. Paid tickets carry a service fee of three point five percent plus one dollar and fifty-nine cents, with payment processing additional. You choose who covers the fees for each event.
Let me scoot over. The numbers deserve the spotlight.
Here is a twenty-five-dollar ticket example. When the buyer covers fees, the published estimate is twenty-eight dollars and twenty-seven cents at checkout, and twenty-four dollars and sixty-eight cents to the organiser. A small processing amount still comes out of your proceeds.
If you cover fees, the buyer pays twenty-five dollars and the estimated organiser amount is twenty-one dollars and fifty cents. These examples use standard US card pricing. Review the current total and payout estimate for your event; other payment methods and adjustments can change the amount.
Your page is ready. How will people hear about it? Open your event's AI launch pack. Review the social captions, email, text, countdowns, and QR code. Make the wording sound like you. Before scheduling, look at the destination: SmartScale Events pages means the post goes on SmartScale's accounts.
Your own accounts need their separate connection. Select the intended pages, review the post, and confirm the schedule. Following SmartScale's pages is optional and helps you find posts to reshare; following alone does not connect your account.
Give each promoter a personal link and set the commission. You can see attributed ticket sales and what is earned, paid, or still owed. Share and Earn can open that opportunity to ticket buyers or anyone, depending on your setting. Co-hosts help organize a team.
SmartScale tracks these commissions; you pay promoters separately and record the payment. Share the correct personal link so a qualifying sale can be credited to the person who brought it in.
Guests see their ticket total before paying and can check out without creating an account. Available payment choices depend on the order. Ticket delivery includes email and text, with wallet options. If someone needs their ticket again, point them to Find my tickets.
Transfers let a guest pass a ticket to a friend. Eligible resale can offer it back at face value; the original ticket price is refunded when the replacement sale completes. Make your refund policy clear before guests buy.
A waitlist gives people a next step when tickets sell out. Reminders and event updates help guests arrive prepared. Send promotional texts only to people who agreed to receive them. For event day, open Guests and check-in and select your event.
See who has a ticket, who has arrived, and who is still expected. Give your door team the event PIN and download the attendee list while connected. The offline scanner can keep working when reception drops and sync check-ins afterward.
Open Insights to review ticket sales, marketing sources, promoter results, check-ins, and estimated proceeds. Ask your event a plain-English question when you need help reading the numbers. For money on its way to your bank, open Payouts and complete any account requirements. Payments run through Stripe.
Your payout status is the place to check timing and exact details. The event's estimated earnings and money already deposited in your bank are different stages.
Already use ChatGPT or Claude? Open Connect ChatGPT or Claude in SmartScale. Follow the connection instructions, sign in, and choose the access you want to allow. Once connected, you can ask about ticket sales, compare promoter results, prepare launch copy, or build a draft from a flyer.
You still review a new draft before publishing. Publishing an existing event or sending a guest text requires your approval. The connection cannot change your bank details or issue refunds. Check the assistant's current plan requirements during setup.
The next event doesn't have to start from zero. Run It Again reuses the setup; review the new date, venue, tickets, and team settings. Your audience view helps you find people connected to past events.
Guests can follow your organiser page, and people who opt in can hear about your next event. Post-event ratings help you learn what worked. Use a guest's comment as a testimonial only when they have allowed it.
API and webhook options are also available when you need to connect your other business tools.
Looking for something to do? Choose an available city on the homepage and pick a date or weekend. Things to do brings ticketed events and free community listings together. Use the category filters to find the kind of outing you want.
Open the listing for its date, location, and admission details. Free listings gathered from other calendars include a source to check before you head out. Coverage and available events vary by city. You can also choose the area's roundup and reminders that suit you.
That's the SmartScale Events workflow: create your page, prepare promotion, sell tickets, welcome guests, and learn what brings them back. Compare the complete buyer cost and what you keep, alongside the tools your event needs.
When you're ready, go to SmartScale Events dot com, choose Create event, and start with your flyer or description. Review your first draft, and take the next step from there.
